Eastern Bluebird Acrylic Art

acrylic bird art

An Eastern Bluebird perched on a budding Iris stem. Thanks to some helpful folks over at the Wetcanvas forum I learned that the flowers in the foreground are called Lavatera, otherwise known as Mallow. They used to grow from seed in the patio flowerbed
. The acrylic painting is made on 11x14 inch canvas board. The background color in the original acrylic is a more yellow with a tinge of green, I guess the camera wasn't able to catch it. I tried correcting the color in a graphics program without any success.
