The first time I saw a hummingbird I thought it was a large bug and went up to the window to take a closer look. Oh what a surprise, I never expected to see a hummingbird. Ever since I tried to attract them to the backyard but without any success. I tried a feeder but the only thing it attracted was ants. I'm not much of a green thumb but I'm considering planting some flowers that hummingbirds like. Maybe that will get them to visit again.
