When I was thinking about making a new vector illustration of a dog, a Coonhound is what came to my mind and this is the result. Coonhounds were developed in America during colonial times, they were used for hunting raccoons and other animals found in North America, hence the name "coonhound". Coonhounds are friendly and require a lot of exercise to keep them happy. 

 

 There are six types of coonhounds, the black and tan, which I suppose is what I drew (I'm not that familiar with the breed, black and tan markings is just what came to my mind when I thought "coonhound"), there's also the Redbone coonhound, the English coonhound, Bluetick coonhound, Tree Walker coonhound and Plott coonhound. Each type except for the Plott coonhound decended from the Foxhound.

• A group of pugs is called a "grumble" (I'm not making this up)

Customizable Beagle Dog Art

I just made my first dog art with a transparent background, that means  you can customize the background to whatever color you choose. By default I gave this Beagle poster an orange background, but changing it is as simple as clicking the "Customize It " button on the product page and choosing a color from the color palette. If you want more color options just click the color picker on the palette.

Bernese Mountain Dog Wall Art

Wall decals are a cool way of decorating walls because it involves no nails, glues or anything else that can damage walls. Just peel and put on a wall. Can be removed just as easily and moved to a new wall without damaging either the wall or the decal. This Mountain Dog one of my digital paintings that I'm making available as wall decals with I hope more to come.

My latest dog poster to go on sale in my dog poster gallery Buy framed, unframed or on gallery wrapped canvas. The edge of the canvas prints is customizable, there is the option of choosing white or black edge, soft edge in which the colors of the print are blurred around the edge without any cropping of the artwork, or the popular image wrap which wraps the art around the canvas edges.

For this Keeshond print image wrap is not recommended. I personally like the black edge on artwork that is not suited for image wrap.
